Announcing Workshop "Formal Semantics and Pragmatics of Dialogue" University of Munich March 10-12 1997 Invited Speakers: 1) Jonathan Ginzburg (Hebrew University, Jerusalem) 2) Jeroen Groenendijk (University of Amsterdam) 3) Henk Zeevat (University of Amsterdam) The past years saw an increasing interest in attempts to apply formal methods from different fields to dialogue phenomena, where possible worlds semantics, DRT, situation theory, dynamic semantics, channel theory, and game theory served as starting points. The workshop aims at bringing together researchers from the mentioned and may be other fields. Abstracts are invited for 30 minute presentations (with 10 additional minutes for discussion) on any topic related to formal semantics and pragmatics of dialogue.
