Call for Papers: Special Issue of Information Retrieval dedicated to CLEF Guest Editors: Martin Braschler and Carol Peters Information Retrieval, published by Kluwer, reports theory and experimentation in IR and its applications Eitors-in-Chief: Paul B. Kantor and Stephen E. Robertson This special issue will focus on cross-language work on European languages. Papers discussing issues involved in multiple language retrieval, ie monolingual retrieval on many diverse languages will also be taken into consideration. Contributions should aim at reporting academically challenging work that has emerged from CLEF over the last three years, emphasizing the role of CLEF and demonstrating the learning curve (where relevant). We are looking for 5-6 full papers but short papers will also be taken into consideration.
