WORKSHOP ON LOGIC AND LANGUAGE Seville (Spain), November 29-30 and December 1 First Announcement The Institute on Logic, Language and Information announces the First Workshop on Logic and Language. This workshop will be an interdisciplinary meeting with a special interest on the LLI field, comprising the following (non-exclusive) areas: Logic (classical logic, legal logic, modal logic, temporal logic, epistemic logic, etc.), Model Theory, Methodology of Science, Philosophy of Language, Linguistics, Mathematical and Computational Methods applied to the analysis of Natural Language and Information, Natural Language Processing, Machine Translation, Cognitive Sciences, etc. The languages of the Workshop are English and Spanish. 30 minutes communications are welcome. Whoever wants to submit a communication must send it by e-mail to the address below before 30 September 2000. Communications are limited to no more than 8 pages (Word, Sciword or TEX, 11 pt). Acceptance will be notify by 15 October. Inscription fees are: General, 10.000 Pts (60 euros); Students (accredited), 3.000 Pts (18 euros).
