 7th International Symposium on Logic and Language
           Conference Information

The conference will be held in Tihany, Hungary (at the Balaton Lake),
probably on September 7-9, 2000. Our Symposia on Logic and Language have
aimed at promoting the interaction between formal linguists and logicians.
The 7th Symposium will be organized by the Theoretical Linguistics
Programme of the Lorand Eotvos University of Budapest. The topic of the
7th Symposium is

Presentations. 

We plan 20-minute presentations followed by 10-minute discussions. The
extended abstracts (see below) will be distributed to the participants
in the beginning of the conference. 

Abstracts. 

The deadline for submitting abstracts (about two pages, i.e., 4000
characters) is April 3, 2000. The abstracts are to be submitted by e-mail,
to the following address: kalman@nytud.hu (Laszlo Kalman). Notifications
of acceptance will be sent out around the beginning of May 2000. The
deadline for registering will be end May. 

Extended abstracts.

The deadline of extended abstracts (not exceeding 10 pages) will be the
beginning of August 2000.
