The Nordic Conference of Computational Linguistics (NODALIDA 99)

The Nordic Conference of Computational Linguistics will take place at
the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, from
December 9 - 10 1999.

The conference is open for all branches of computational linguistics.
Topics for special sections are however defined: Speech Technology,
Linguistic Methods in Information Retrieval, and Translation. Abstracts
within these topics are particulary welcome.

The deadline for submission of abstracts (in English, Danish, Norwegian
or
Swedish; max 1000 words) is September 15. The time used for the
presentation should not exceed 25 minutes. Please submit your abstract
by e-mail to the following address:

Participants will be notified about acceptance by October 15 1999.

The deadline for registration and payment for all participants is
November 1, 1999.  Registration will be opened by October 1 1999.

The local organizer has reserved hotel rooms in the conference period.

Selected papers will be published after the conference.

The registration fee will be approx. NOK 300 - 500 (EURO 40 - 60),
including the conference proceedings, coffee, etc. Conference dinner
is not included.
